It is a shocking news for the masses and cine-goers as Veena Malik's Silk Sakkath Hot screening has been halted. A social activist has brought a stay on the movie till August 10. Bhimashankar Patil, the President of Karnataka Navnirman Sene, filed a petition to ban Silk Sakkath Hot from screening. The case came before the court on Wednesday (August 7) and it passed the order for a temporary ban on the Kannada movie. According to the petitioner, Silk Sakkath Hot projects women in a bad taste, and there are vulgar scenes in the movie in the name of sensuous sequences. The film sends a bad message to the society and allowing such films for screening will harm the society.
