Islamabad, A duty magistrate on Sunday issued one-day transit remand
for Kanwal, wife of a gunman who created high drama at the heart of the
federal capital on Thursday. The accused was presented before magistrate
s court located at the F-8 sector in Islamabad.
According to reports, Kanwal would be produced before an anti-terrorism court (ATC) today Monday. Islamabad police registered a case against the gunman at Kohsar police station under Section 6 of the Anti-Terrorism Act (ATA). Sikandar s wife Kanwal was also named in the FIR.
The gunman was accompanied by his wife and two children who have been now in police custody. Sikandar been admitted in Islamabad s PIMS hospital where his condition is improving.
