Cops to question Mahima Chaudhary in fraud case

Actor Mahima Chaudhary may be quizzed by the Lucknow police in connection with a financial fraud case filed against Magnum Infra, a finance company of Lucknow, of which the actor is the brand ambassador.

A case of fraud has been filed against the owners of the company Arun and Varun Chaturvedi for duping their investors of crores of rupees after promising them handsome returns.

Mahima is also likely to be served a charge sheet by the Lucknow police to determine her role in the company. The police will be investigating her connection with the company and to what extent the actor has been involved with the company.
Magnum Infra had organised a grand function at its launch in April 2012 during which Mahima had been introduced as the brand ambassador and the actor had also gifted investors expensive items including cars, television sets and smart phones.

Despite repeated attempts to contact her, Mahima didn't take our calls or revert to our message.
