Originally from Uttarakhand, the 5 ft 9 inches girl was signed on by director Anil Sharma after he had screen-tested over a 100 girls.
Urvashi is gung-ho about two songs she shot for the film, Jab Mehndi Lag Jaave, said to be in the space of Sridevi's Mere Haathon Mein Nau-Nau Choodiyaan Hain and Daaru Bandh Kar De, which she says will be loved by the male audience.
