Katrina Kaif to romance Saif Ali Khan

Director Kabir Khan is all geared up to start filming his upcoming thriller movie. The movie is based on geo political scenario. The movie will go on floors in October. The movie will star Katrina Kaif and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles.

Well, the daring act of Kabir Khan has come into limelight after the director announced that he would film the first schedule of the movie in Syria- Lebanon border. It is known that border of Syria-Lebanon is known to be notorious and time and again conflicts do take place on the borders.

The shooting at Syria border is assumed to be a 15 day schedule. Though the production team of the movie will not be insured during this time, they have still decided to go with their director’s decision. The lead casts of the movie, Saif and Katrina, will first fly to Beirut, which is the capital of Lebanon. After shooting in Beirut for some days, they will proceed for the border area. The border area is declared as war-zone.

A source close to the unit said, “There is no insurance cover for the production, but that's how it is in a war zone. There is no concept of any indemnity as things can get unpredictable.”

Kabir Khan went to Lebanon in July and he surveyed the area properly. The Lebanese security agency had asked Kabir Khan to submit the script and other details relating to the movies. They also warned Kabir of the danger areas and advised him to avoid such areas for shooting.
Kabir had earlier carried shooting in war ridden Afghanistan and so he is aware of potential threats. Kabir has confirmed about this movie and its story. He avoided any further details.

Kabir Khan last directed ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ which was based on the story of an Indian RAW agent. The story of the upcoming movie is written by Hussain Zaidi. He earlier wrote ‘Black Friday’ and ‘Shootout At Wadala’.

Saif earlier worked in such movies. He acted in ‘Kurbaan’ where he played the role of a terrorist. He also acted in ‘Agent Vinod’. A source said, “Saif plays a counter-terrorist deputed to tackle a post 26/11 scenario. It's a kind of extension to Salman Khan's RAW agent's role in Kabir Khan's 'Ek Tha Tiger'. But the politics of this film would be far more topical.”

Saif and Katrina worked together in ‘Race’.
